It was another great short session on the local lake. This session was made with two of our good friends Michael Gliksman and Mark Roik. Approach from the beginning was very simple and resulted in great success. Each 6 hour or less fishing session requires a good strategy right from the beginning, so we have decided to place small amounts of bait on the smallest possible area about 75 yards out. Spod mix which we have used consisted of sweet corn with juice, oats and handful of 12 mm K-1 Baits Strawberry boilies. Very effective combination not only short sessions. This combination attracts the fish very quickly and small doses throughout the session are keeping fish in your targeted area.
This past weekend another carp tournament took place in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Two Rivers being a small town hosts an amazing event in which carp anglers compete for a title of Wisconsin Carp Champion. 38 carp anglers from all over the states came to this event and competed thru hot and humid weather as well as pouring rain. In spite the challenging weather conditions it was an fantastic time all anglers had during two days of the competition. Congratulations to all the participants and all the winners. About three hour drive west of Chicago, almost on the border
with an adjoining State of Iowa is beautifully situated, relatively small lake,

locomotives traveling thru the western part of the State of Illinois. Who
would have thought that by the end of the century this lake will become almost
a magical place for carp fishing anglers from State of Illinois, as well as all
of the United States and also be visited by European carp fishing
anglers? Where this magic and uniqueness of this place came from? In
addition to the beautiful grounds this lake holds powerful carp exceeding
weight of 40 pounds, and even larger. More than a decade already this
opportunity to fish over 40 pound carp, attracts as magnet carp fishing anglers
from around the United States.
