Another session of Polonia Carp Team Winter League has ended and it did end just not like I was hoping it will. After a peg draw, I was fishing at peg 2, which is one of the middle of canal pegs. This spot is not a difficult fishing area, but it is an area which that only few fish has been caught. During previous sessions of PCT Winter League, guys only were able to pull about a fish or two, per session from this area. On more positive note, every time it was a fish on more larger scale.
Fishing that day was yet again a different experience, during this Winter League. Morning started with temperatures above freezing and cloudy skies. that unfortunately did not least long because the rain came. Once the rain started it did accompanied us all the way till the end of the day. It did cleared up a bit, just allowing us to pack everything in the cars.
This peg has not too many fishing options, it is either up close, in the middle or on the other side. For this session I have chose to fish up close and in the middle. One rod on the left side, one on the right and third right in the deep spot of the canal but no matter what I have tried I couldn't lend a fish.
I was very disappointed and this session ended with two fish, little 6-07 and larger one at 21-00.
There are three more sessions to go so I hope my luck will change.
